Our editorial policy
How we research, write, review and update the information on this website.
Who writes our content
Our loan pages and guides are written by the Loan Finder Store editorial team and reviewed by our credit team — people who arrange finance for Australians every day. Each page shows when it was last updated.
Where our facts come from
We rely on primary, authoritative sources such as ASIC’s Moneysmart, the Australian Taxation Office, the Reserve Bank of Australia, the Clean Energy Regulator, the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, and official state government websites. Where we quote a figure, we link to the source at the bottom of the page.
What we won’t do
- Publish interest rates as advertising or promise approval.
- Invent statistics, reviews or testimonials.
- Rank or recommend a lender because it pays us more.
How we keep content current
Rules and incentives change — think EV tax treatment, battery rebates or luxury car tax thresholds. We review pages when rules change and at least every six months, and update the “Updated” date only when the content has actually been reviewed.
How we’re paid
Loan Finder Store is a credit broker. We’re usually paid a commission by the lender when a loan settles. That never changes what we write: our information is general and designed to help you understand your options. For more, see our Credit Guide.
